On May 5, 2010, the Royal Palm Beach Rotary Club presented Marjorie Rowe of Cypress Trails Elementary School, the Crystal Apple Teacher of the Year Award, as chosen by her peers and the school.

Along with the Crystal Apple Award, Ms. Rowe was also presented with a plaque where her name stands amoungst those of the 14 previous winners.
