On April 24th, PDG Betsy Owen spoke to the club about Polio Plus as the program chair for the District. Betsy is a Polio survivor and gave the club a first hand account of her physical limitations as a toddler and how her father, an orthopedic surgeon, had a unique method to her recovery. Betsy also informed the club of the 3 countries still with reported Polio cases and how Rotary International is administering vaccinations.
