Detective Carino was being recognized by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for his diligence, dedication and investigative skills throughout 2010. He investigated several highly organized retail theft rings that were responsible for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from our area retailers. In addition to his investigative efforts he is also being recognized for creating a training brief and training 50 deputies in the use of the PBSO Pawnshop system. This valuable training is an excellent investigative tool for law enforcement and by sharing his knowledge he has enhanced the knowledge of his peers and improved upon the service delivery to residents of the Village of Royal Palm Beach.
